We offer solutions for burning biofuels (wood chips, wood waste, peat, municipal waste, garbage, etc.) with hot water, steam and thermal oil boilers with a capacity of 1 MW to 20 MW. They can be used in district and local heating, combined heat and power plants, wood industries, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Combustion gases from the grate hearth are directed to the hot water, steam, or thermal oil boiler, where energy transfer occurs. The power range of the technology developed and manufactured by Tamult AS is 1 to 20 MW. Areas of use: district and local heating, combined heat and power plants (CHP), wood industries, pellet mills, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Grate furnaces have a large combustion chamber volume with cast and brick-lined masonry. The grate surface is divided into zones: drying, combustion, and ash burnout. During combustion, the flame moves back toward the feeder, which supports the drying of moist fuel entering the furnace.The primary air beneath the grate is likewise divided into adjustable zones. Both air-cooled and water-cooled moving grate systems are available. Secondary air is supplied above the grate, as well as between the arch and the grate.The furnaces are equipped with flue gas recirculation, which is mixed with the secondary air.
