The goal was to increase fuel efficiency, reduce the share of natural gas consumption, and lower the amount of emissions released into the atmosphere with flue gases.<\/p>\n<p>The following works were carried out within the project:<\/p>\n<p>Chimney<\/p>\n<p>The existing chimney was reconstructed, and a new stainless-steel flue liner was manufactured and installed.<\/p>\n<p>Flue Gas Duct<\/p>\n<p>A new flue gas pipeline was designed and built, starting from the woodchip boiler flue outlet and extending to the chimney. The system includes all required equipment for measuring and controlling the operating modes of the flue gas condenser (tee section, gas-tight shut-off valves, flue gas fan, measuring points according to EVS-EN 15259, measurement devices, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Flue Gas Fan<\/p>\n<p>A new flue gas fan was designed and installed for the 6 MW boiler. The fan capacity is 25,000 m\u00b3\/h, with the required pressure taking into account the existing resistance of the 6 MW combustion chamber, boiler, and multicyclone (3000\u20134000 Pa).<\/p>\n<p>Electrostatic Precipitator<\/p>\n<p>A new electrostatic precipitator was designed and installed for a flue gas capacity of 25,000 Nm\u00b3\/h, considering a solid particle content of 300 mg\/Nm\u00b3.
