As part of the procurement, we designed, supplied, and constructed a turnkey solution for a new boiler house with office and workspaces to provide heat for the city of P\u00f5ltsamaa. A hot-water boiler with a grate furnace designed for biofuel was installed in the boiler house, with a nominal output of 1.5 MW at 55% fuel moisture. The boiler\u2019s maximum operating pressure is 6 bar, and the maximum allowed operating temperature is 110 \u00b0C.
\nAn electrostatic precipitator (Scheuch) was also installed for the woodchip boiler.<\/p>\n
A 3 MW gas boiler (Bosch) was installed as a backup boiler. The boiler house operates fully automatically, including control and adjustment of fuel combustion modes depending on changes in output and fuel quality. Remote monitoring of the technology was connected to Adven Eesti AS\u2019s control center.<\/p>\n
Fuel reception into the storage bunker is carried out directly from the fuel truck using screw conveyors, and the fuel warehouse holds 250 pm\u00b3 of fuel, which covers 4\u20135 days of consumption at maximum heat load.<\/p>\n
