The existing boiler house was worn out, and for the new biofuel boiler house a new steel-frame building was constructed in place of the existing boiler house building.<\/p>\n<p>In principle, the boiler house is divided into two parts \u2013 the boiler room and the fuel storage with the hydraulic room. Within the scope of this project, a new biofuel boiler unit Kalvis 720M-1 with a nominal capacity of 0.72 MW was installed in the boiler house. An oil-fired boiler is used as a reserve boiler, and the type of biofuel used is wood chips of class P63, M50.<\/p>\n<p>The heat pipeline of the designed biofuel boiler house was connected to the Saverna district heating network pipeline.
