Reconstruction of the Rakke Metsa Biofuel Boiler House
Description
Within the scope of this project, a hot water boiler with a grate furnace designed for biofuel was installed in the boiler house of Rakke township. The nominal capacity of the boiler is 500 kW at 50% fuel moisture. The maximum operating pressure of the hot water boiler is Ps = 6 bar and the maximum permissible operating temperature is Ts = 110 °C.
The boiler house operates fully automatically, and remote monitoring of the technology was connected to the SW Energia OÜ control center.
Fuel reception into the fuel storage takes place directly from the fuel truck by means of a screw conveyor. The fuel storage has a capacity of 180 loose m³ of fuel, which corresponds to one week of supply at maximum heat load.
In the event of a power outage, an emergency generator was installed in the boiler house to ensure safe shutdown of the boiler house.
