In the field of biomass-based heat production, we have become one of the largest builders of boiler houses and combined heat and power (CHP) plants in the Baltics. To date, we have installed more than 500 MW of renewable biomass-based heat and power generation capacity. Our activities are mainly focused on industrial heat production, serving companies that require heat and electricity for their manufacturing processes.

Tamult is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of biomass combustion technology and has won numerous EU-funded boiler house modernisation tenders both in Estonia and across Europe. Among our major projects are biomass combustion pre-furnaces for the CHP plants in Valka and Rezekne, Latvia, with capacities of 12 MW and 14 MW respectively.

In Estonia, Tamult has designed and installed the combined heat and power plant in the city of Rakvere. As a pioneer in renewable energy solutions, we have designed and installed flue gas condensers and filtration systems for efficient waste-heat recovery in the reconstructed boiler houses of Jüri, Valga, Keila, Haapsalu and Jõgeva. Tamult has also built numerous district heating boiler houses in small towns and municipalities both in Estonia and the Nordic region.

Our production quality is ensured through modern manufacturing technologies and the professional expertise of our employees. We have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects in various European countries. Tamult’s projects are primarily located in Estonia, Sweden and Germany.
