Reconstruction of the Rakke Staadioni Boiler House
Description
The client’s design brief was the reconstruction of the Staadioni boiler house in the Rakke township district heating area into a modern automatic biofuel boiler house. For the biofuel boiler system, a new boiler house with a storage section was constructed. Within the scope of this project, a new biofuel boiler unit Kalvis 720M-1 with a nominal capacity of 0.72 MW was installed in the boiler house.
The type of biofuel used is wood chips of class P63, M50.
The heat pipeline of the designed biofuel boiler house was connected to the district heating network of Rakke township.
